Mr. Kaufer joined Trief & Olk in 2020 as of counsel. He received his J.D. from New York Law School in 1994. He received his B.A. from Concordia University of Montreal, Canada in 1990.
Mr. Kaufer’s diverse background has given him a keen understanding of the litigation process from both defendant and plaintiff perspectives. He has successfully tried numerous cases in both the state and federal courts. He has secured many six and seven-figure verdicts and settlements on behalf of his injured clients in a wide variety of serious personal injury matters. Additionally, he has written and argued several appeals before the appellate courts of New York.
Mr. Kaufer is admitted to the bar in New York. He is also admitted to the United States District Court for both the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York. He is a member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association and the National Bar Association.
